I appreciate the insights. Romney als...Nice work. I appreciate the insights. Romney also needs to get his facts straight. Obama has had many jobs in the private (as opposed to public sector). Finally, Romney's negative comments toward government service are indicative of contempt for those who calling isn't to make as much money as possible. I am a government attorney who routinely negotiates with private sector attorneys who make 5-10 times what I do. Are they 5-10 times more qualified to be president than I am? Or 50 times more qualified to be president than my friends who are artists? (How did Vaclav Havel do?) I took my job because I believe in enforcing our nation's criminal laws. It's work that I like and I am good at. That doesn't mean I (or any other government or non-profit employee) don't understand the concepts of profit and loss, and that we don't employ those concepts in managing our household finances every day. Good for Romney that he made hundreds of millions of dollars, but that doesn't give him license to denigrate the valuable work that anyone else does for a living.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
