And while I don't doubt that's part of the reason for his retirement, neither should anyone take that fully at face value. <br /><br />These folks--veteran legislators--inevitably have a range of options in the lobbying industry, at several times their Congressional salaries. In fact, his WIFE (formerly his chief of staff) is a lobbyist.
