More on the county reform effort I reported on last week, from cleveland.com today. Martin Zanotti (pictured), Parma Heights mayor and co-chair of the reform group, says the ballot drive for a county executive and council will launch April 1. Funniest line: "Zanotti, a Democrat, said he is hopeful Dimora and Russo will not support his plan because he believes their backing would hurt its chances."
Zanotti doesn't have to worry. "Destin Ramsey, Russo's chief operating officer, said the auditor favors streamlining county government, but would not support this plan because it was drafted without officeholder input."
